A TCN number in Florida is a Transaction Control Number, a unique code assigned after you get Live Scan fingerprints taken for a background check. This number is essential for tracking your background check's status through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and for paying for the service online. You should receive your TCN on a receipt from the fingerprinting technician after your appointment.
